Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh

During the intermediate examination of my son, I promised him that if he will get the first division in the annual exam then I will take him to visit the Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh. After the announcement of the result, he reminds me of my promise. I agreed on a holiday visit because he has got a good position in the exam. On a specified day, we got up early in the morning and took our breakfast. We booked a cab online. company cabs are giving the best services so we hired them. When we reached Stansted Airport, the cab driver was at the main entrance of the airport. He welcomed us with a smiling face. He took our luggage and place it in the trunk of the cab. At 7 am, our journey starts from Stansted Airport to Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh.

Our journey was so long but we were fond of travelling, so we don’t feel any difficulty at all. Above this, the WiFi service provided by the company cab was enough for us to spend our time easily. The driver of the cab also played music in the cab. The sound of nice music was amazing. At 1:30 pm, we reached Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh.

The garden was very beautiful. There was greenery here and there and the atmosphere was so peaceful. With the silence of the beautiful environment, we felt peace of mind there. The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is one of the world's finest botanic gardens. The Garden is a family-friendly attraction that offers fantastic views of the capital's skyline, including Edinburgh Castle, and is only a mile from the city centre. Visitors can learn about its fascinating history, which dates back 350 years, as well as walk around 72 acres of beautiful, awe-inspiring landscape.

We saw Palm House in the Royal Botanic Gardens. There were many flowers in the garden. Nymphaea flower was also there. We took some pictures at the Waterfall which was in the rock garden. The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) is both a popular tourist attraction and a scientific research facility dedicated to the study of plants, their diversity, and conservation. It began as a physic garden to cultivate medicinal plants in 1670 and now has four locations in Scotland: Edinburgh, Dawyck, Logan, and Benmore, each with its specialist collection. The RBGE has over 13,302 plant species (34,422 accessions) in its living collection, and the herbarium has over 3 million preserved specimens.

It was the time of evening, so we prepared for home. We took our luggage and reached the gate of the garden. The company cab driver took our luggage and place it in the trunk of the cab. We sat in the cab and the journey starts from Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh to Stansted Airport. We reached late night at the airport. We paid hiring charges to the driver of the cab and moved towards our house. It was the most memorable trip of my life. I strongly recommend you to visit this place. May God bless you.
